Community living camp


In our fast-paced world of technology, camps expose young people to a different kind of environment a community based atmosphere in which campers learn about living, working and playing together on addition, campers typically mean a healthy respect for nature . The life skille that many youth experience at camp help them to from thinking patterns that depict the type of adults they will become. Living in a camp prepare youth to be positive contributors to their communities The camp provides ample opportunities to fine lure with the interpersonal relationship stelle of the campers through the faccess of group dynamics



Thus a five day community living camp was organized from 15-19 february 2021 as a past of the Boed encriculum comprising batches from 2019-2021 at BMm II TC. It was an experience in all sense, which was enough to fulfil the set aims of developing special skells, to interact with different community and to spread awareness in the people.

The camp was named Explore 2021 with Explore the Endurance as the theme. Each session was based on subthemes. The subthemes were Explore the Exquisite, Explore Ourself, Explore the dexterity Explore the mind. The classes were conducted by eminent personalities

DAY-1 15-02-2021

The complete matters related to the camp and it's organisation was finalized in this day with the help of teachers and student coordinators.

DAY-2 16-02-2021

The first day started with parade by students and official inaguration. Sri A Shaju (chariman of Kottarakara municipality). After the inaugural session theme was presented. Dr Shaji conducted the class based on the subtheme Explore the Endurance.

The second class was by Sri Brahmanayakam Mahadevan sir . His class was based on the topic Explore the Exquisite.

DAY-3 17-02-2021

The camp started with prayer.At about 11 am class based on the subtheme Explore Ourself by Dr.S Anand was conducted.The next session was arts and I took part in different programs. This was a great experience.

DAY-4 18-02-2021

The last session was conducted by Sri punnapra Jyothikumar sir . His class was based on the subtheme Explore the dexterity. It was a live class with music.

Afternoon session was the valedictory function.prizes for the winners was also distributed.

DAY-5 19-02-2021

Explore the Nature. A one day trip was organised by the committee to Mango Meadows at Kottayam.It was an agricultural theme park. We spended almost 5 hours there.

Overall the camp was an unique experience. The memories will surely preserved for my lifetime.

He conducted the class based on the topic Gandhian views on peace and equality. He stressed the importance of secularism in the present world.  A poster competition was also conducted. WORLD WETLANDS DAY 2020

2nd February of each year is World wetlands day to raise global awareness about the  vital role of wetlands for people and our planet. Wetlands and Biodiversity is the theme for 2020. Wetlands are rich with biodiversity and are a habitat for dense variety of plants and animals. Latest estimate show a decline in biodiversity. Inorder to give awareness about the need of protection of wetlands, one day workshop was conducted on 03-02-2020. The workshop was conducted by WWF and Bhoomitrasena of St Gregorios college. The workshop was inaugurated by Sri.Shyalamalaamma, chairperson of kottarakara municipality. Inagural address was given by Dr Suman Alexander, principal of SG college. The classes was conducted by Dr Ranjan Mathew, N. K Shivakumar, Sujith B Gopan.  The class mainly pointed out the threats faced by wetlands of Kerala.
