Based on our 2 year B. Ed curriculum a criticism class was conducted on 26-02-2020.We the six student teachers of First year B. Ed conducted the class for 8th class students. This was my first experience as a teacher trainee. I took the topic plastics from 8th class science text. I took the class based on the 5E model. The steps are Engage, explore, explain, elaborate, evaluate. A criticism session was also conducted by our teacher and peers. This session helped me to identify the mistakes done by me during the class. This experience was a stepping stone to my passion as a teacher.

A demonstration class was conducted on 26-02-2019 by our seniors Ms. Merin and Ms. Rincy. The beginning session was an interaction session with us and them. They gave the overall idea about the Models if teaching. The first class was taken by Ms. Rincy, her class was based on the 5E model. The topic was sound. She imparted the idea to students in the proper manner. The class was also very helpful for us. The second class was taken by Ms. Merin. She followed the Advance Organizer Model of teaching. The topic was spherical mirrors. The class was very organized and teacher was well prepared. Class was very informative to us. 

College union for the year 2020-2021 was inaugurated on February-18-20 by famous poet Sri. Kureepuzha Srikumar. The morning session was the inaugural session. Our college manager Rev. Sakaria Ramban, college principal Sri Roy G and senior staff Dr. Harikumar were also gave their blessings to our college union and arts club. Then various arts programs were conducted by students. 

Second seminar about Gandhiji was conducted on February-17-2020. The class was taken by famous politician and Member of Legislative Assembly Sri Mullakara Ratnakaran. He conducted the class based on the topic Gandhian views on peace and equality. He stressed the importance of secularism in the present world.  A poster competition was also conducted. And our class secured second prize

" By education, I mean an all-round drawing of the best in child and man in body, mind and spirit"  Government of India is commemorating the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi,  Father of the nation, for a period of two years ie from 2nd october 2018 to 2nd october 2020 at national and international level to propagate his message.  Inorder to propagate the ideas and teachings of Gandhiji our college on 07-02-2020inaugurated a series of celebrations related to his birth anniversary. The first program was a seminar on the topic' Gandhiji and secularism'. It was conducted by Dr. C Unnikrishnan, principal of DB college Shastamkotta. He went through various important life stages of Gandhiji which was unknown to us. The seminar powered us to conduct more and more programs to honor the father of our nation.

Governmental and non-governmental organizations for popularising science.  On 04-02-2020 a seminar was conducted based on the topic various governmental and non-governmental organizations for popularising science. We conducted the seminar in the model  of conducting a national seminar. The first section was the inaugural section. A program schedule was made-up and conduct the seminar according to the schedule. 

On 04-02-2020 I and Sooryagayathri of Social science department conducted a group seminar on 'University  Grants Commission'. The seminar was based on the history, aim, objectives and functions of UGC in higher education sector of our country. Group seminar was a new experience for me. I hereby thanks Riju sir for giving necessary instructions and my classmates those who eagerly attended our class.

2nd February of each year is World wetlands day to raise global awareness about the  vital role of wetlands for people and our planet. Wetlands and Biodiversity is the theme for 2020. Wetlands are rich with biodiversity and are a habitat for dense variety of plants and animals. Latest estimate show a decline in biodiversity. Inorder to give awareness about the need of protection of wetlands, one day workshop was conducted on 03-02-2020. The workshop was conducted by WWF and Bhoomitrasena of St Gregorios college. The workshop was inaugurated by Sri.Shyalamalaamma, chairperson of kottarakara municipality. Inagural address was given by Dr Suman Alexander, principal of SG college. The classes was conducted by Dr Ranjan Mathew, N. K Shivakumar, Sujith B Gopan.  The class mainly pointed out the threats faced by wetlands of Kerala.
