MY PROJECT- A CASE STUDY ON CSI VHS & HSS FOR DEAF VALAKOM.

As part of our B. Ed curriculum, the student teacher has to take up a minor research project action research or case study during the course. The task or theme selected should be  relevant socially, academically, and contextually and has to be undertaken in phased manner  as per schedule under the guidance of a superior. The investigator selected on academically  relevant topic entitled "A CASE STUDY ON CSI VHS & HSS FOR DEAF, VALAKOM”. Education in school will improve the ability of children who are deaf or cannot hear  well to communicate, and can give them skills to lead productive lives and to support their  
families. At school, deaf children can learn to read and write often the only ways that deaf people can communicate with people who do not know sign language or cannot understand  their speech. Reading helps people who cannot hear well understand the ideas, emotions, and  experiences of other people. Writing helps them communicate and share their thoughts and emotions. This study mainly focused on the academic and administrative aspects of special school. It is found that various instructional methods were used by educators of the school.  The infrastructural facilities are found satisfactory. The school give prime importance to  vocational education of students, which is an appreciable effort of school. The actions of  dedicated teachers and authorities made this institution as a centre of excellence.
